At around 1:00 am on the morning of September 11, 2015, off-duty police officer Constable Catherine Campbell went to a bar in downtown Halifax. She made no plans to meet anyone. Instead, she chose to fly solo in hopes of decompressing after a stressful week at work. Her body would be discovered 5 days later leaving a nation in mourning.
